Brief Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for lead generation, outreach, and appointment setting. This is a hunter role — focused on identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities. The candidate should have experience in the IT industry and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment aligned with US business hours.
Required Qualifications
• 2–5 years of Business Development experience in the IT industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in cold calling, email and LinkedIn outreach, and appointment setting.
• Strong ability to research target markets, identify decision-makers, and qualify leads.
• Experience in requirement analysis and basic proposal coordination.
• Ability to coordinate meetings across time zones, especially for the US team.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and data-driven.
Responsibilities
• Identify and engage potential clients through strategic outreach campaigns (cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn).
• Research and qualify leads based on company goals, target industries, and ICP criteria.
• Coordinate meetings and discovery sessions for the US sales team.
• Maintain regular follow-ups to keep prospects engaged until handoff to the closing team.
• Track and manage outreach activities through CRM tools and ensure accurate data entry.
• Attend relevant virtual events to gather market insights and identify new lead opportunities.
• Provide weekly reports on pipeline activity, outreach metrics, and campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to refine messaging, outreach strategies, and target lists.
Key Skills
• Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and connect with key decision-makers through multi-channel outreach.
• Strategic Partnership Research: Build databases of potential business partners and initiate meaningful contact.
• Appointment Setting: Book qualified meetings for the US sales team with relevant stakeholders.
• CRM Management: Maintain up-to-date records of outreach and pipeline data.
• Digital Marketing Support: Assist in improving the company’s social media presence and SEO efforts.
• Event Intelligence: Attend and report insights from industry-related virtual events.
Work Details
• Work Timing: 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST (Hybrid)
• Location: Hybrid – flexibility for remote and in-office work.
• Reporting To: Business Development Manager / Head of Sales
