Required Qualifications
- Experience : 2-8 years of total software development experience in Oracle/MySQL.
- Education: Graduates in BE/BTech (Computer science or related) or MSC Computer science/MCA or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
Must have working knowledge in PL/SQL programming, developing complex packages, stored procedures, functions and implementing best practices in PL/SQL programming, database table design.
- Ability to Understand large data structures.
- Excellent knowledge in Database analysis and Designing & database design methodologies.
- Good knowledge of database backup and recovery, export/import, tools and techniques.
- Good knowledge of monitoring and tuning databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Strong analytical skills while maintaining attention to details.
- Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines and work independently.
- Sound knowledge of database development in Oracle Database 11g,12c,19c.
- Hands on experience developing PL/SQL with Oracle SQL Developer and SQL*Plus.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, views, functions, triggers,
and queries. - Should have good skills in optimizing big complex queries and improving query performance.
- Preparing database documentation and diagrams (DBDD, DMD etc.)
- Collaborate with application developers in the team and business users.
- Knowledge of shell and Windows batch scripting.
- Experience in error handling and logging with various SQL and PL/SQL objects.
- Implementing Audit within the database.
- Familiar with handling geo-spatial data in Oracle database.
- Experience in any other RDBMS such as MSSQL, MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to Linux OS and cloud databases.
- DevOps experience.
