Brief Description
Polus Solutions is looking for passionate and self-motivated individuals to join our QA team as Quality Analyst Interns (Automation Testing). This 3-month internship is designed for candidates who are eager to build a career in quality assurance and automation testing by gaining hands-on experience in a real-world project environment.
Required Qualifications
- Any Graduate: B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA / MCA / M.Sc or equivalent
- Candidates who have completed or are pursuing QA / Software Testing–related courses are preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Automation Testing
- Strong understanding of Selenium with Java basics
- Knowledge of WebDriver methods (e.g., get, refresh, etc.)
- Working experience with Select Class, Actions Class, and dynamic waits
- Ability to write dynamic XPath expressions
- Basic knowledge of TestNG and data-driven frameworks
- Familiarity with exception handling in automation scripts
- Good foundation in Core Java concepts such as OOPS, Lambda Expressions, etc.
- Basic exposure to the Playwright tool (web automation using AI)
- Exposure to reporting tools such as Extent Reports or similar reporting frameworks (highly recommended)
- MySQL
- Ability to write basic MySQL queries
- Performance Testing (Optional)
- Basic understanding of JMeter and its usage in performance testing
- Functional Testing
- Solid foundational knowledge of:
- Agile methodologies
- STLC & SDLC
- Bug life cycle
- Test case writing and documentation
- Basic knowledge of prompting techniques
- Communication Skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand requirements and clearly articulate testing scenarios
