Role Overview
The role requires a strong UI/UX orientation and ability to translate complex and business requirements into intuitive user experiences. The ideal candidate is a self-driven who collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and leverages AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality. Exposure to full-stack technologies (Java/MySQL) and search/API integrations is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-grade frontend applications for research, compliance, and institutional workflows.
- Build intuitive dashboards, data-rich interfaces, and workflow components with high usability standards.
- Translate complex regulatory and business requirements into simple, user-friendly UI experiences
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, Compliance SMEs, and QA teams.
- Own features end-to-end, including design discussions, implementation, unit testing, and deployment support.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) to improve development efficiency and code quality.
- Contribute to and maintain shared design systems to ensure UI consistency across products.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional frontend development experience (preferably in product-based or SaaS environments).
- Strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive UI development.
- Experience building workflow-driven enterprise applications (multi-step approvals, task routing, RBAC).
- Integration experience with GraphQL and Elasticsearch.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, web security principles, and scalable frontend architecture.
- Strong UI/UX orientation with a customer-centric mindset.
- Experience working independently within Agile development teams.
- Exposure to AI-powered developer tools and automation-driven engineering workflows.
Added Advantage
- Full-stack exposure to Java (Spring Boot) and MySQL.
- Experience with research administration, grants management, regulatory/compliance workflows, or higher-education platforms.
- Understanding of audit logs, document management, and compliance-heavy workflow systems.
- Familiarity with cloud-native SaaS architectures, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and containers.
- Working knowledge of Elasticsearch query optimization and GraphQL schema design.
